You don’t need to be perfect to be a great nurse in the making. You just need to keep moving forward. If you had a tough shift this week, here’s what we’d say:

  • Write down one thing you handled better than you would’ve a month ago. That’s progress.

  • Create a “win list” in your notes app. Even small moments count—getting vitals without help, catching a near miss, calming a patient.
